“ This place is the OG of Chinese restaurants. All special are written on strips of paper on the walls in Chinese, and I can't imagine too many non Chinese are coming all the way into inner Richmond to dine unless they have friends who knows how to order is with them. The food was amazing, customer service was friendly and you really get a lot of food for your money. I am definitely coming back when I am back in the area. ”

“ This place was awesome, I got take out for pick up on a Saturday night and the place was absolutely packed! Huge families sitting at round tables and people waiting outside. I ordered about 10 dishes and it only took 40 mins for them to prepare. I would say that the portions are average and equivalent to the price but the quality is really good. My favorites were the pea sprouts and curry chicken! I'll definitely be coming back and bringing my family. ”

“ Food overloaaad! Not sure if it's bc I came for a dinner event but the portions are HUGE! Ambiance and service is like a typical Chinese restaurant. Food: - The "duck with bun/veggies" was good. -The "steamed clam with vermicelli" was delicious! Super garlicky and flavorful, absolute must try! -The "salted crab" was very crispy and savory. -The "lettuce wrap" was also delicious with flavorful fillings and the plain lettuce to balance out the taste! -The "sticky rice covered in chicken skin" was HUMONGOUS! it's basically lotus sticky rice without the lotus leaf. It was good, but I'd still prefer lotus though. -The "red lobster" and "black bass fish" was good. Overall, food quantity was huge and was delicious! Would come again with family and friends :)) ”

“ The 4 of us came for weekday lunch today. We ordered the spicy salt pork chops, tomato beef curry geen mein and green beans with beef. The spicy salt pork was excellent but the portion size was smaller than usual. Maybe a different cook? The tomato beef curry crispy noodles didn't have much of a curry taste and there was hardly any sliced beef in it. There was a ton of sliced beef In the green beans. I guess that made up for the noodles. Still a good deal and we still had leftovers. They still offered us complimentary tea, White rice and soup. ”

“ I bought some friends here since we were looking for a different Chinese restaurant that we have not been to. My friends wife was trying to go overboard on ordering not realizing their portion size, I had to reign her in by stopping her from ordering more. She realized what I was trying to tell her when the dishes started to arrive, the orders here are easily double what you would get in other restaurants and twice as tasty. As usual this is a restaurant that I don't look at the menu and ask the server's suggestions. We settled on the lamb sizzling iron platter, tell me how good it was since the platter was empty after. The bittermelon fish dish was huge and stir fried the way I like it, crispy but not mushy and overcooked. The twice cooked pork belly was good but I think it was not quite braised as well as I would like. The pea sprouts were a huge serving and stir fried with very good wok hei, actually all their dishes when stir frying is required was great since their wok hei was very good. I'm glad I reigned in my friends wife from over ordering, I had a lot to pack that we couldn't finish. I told her we'll be back to try the other items another visit. ”
